Technical Director and Co-Head Coach – Alex Balog

Coach Balog becomes the Aces Technical Director and Co-Head Coach beginning with the Spring 2022 season. He currently serves as the Assistant Coach at Division 1 Men’s Soccer program Villanova University. Prior to joining Villanova, Coach Balog was the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Montana State University Billings. Balog served two seasons at MSUB as an Assistant Coach before taking the helm of the program in 2013. In 2017 he was recognized as Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Co-Coach of the Year. Before his time at MSUB, Balog served as an Assistant Coach for two seasons (2009-10) at NAIA soccer powerhouse Auburn University Montgomery. While in Alabama, Balog also coached for the Olympic Development Program and was the Director of Goalkeeping for the FC Torjager club based in Montgomery.

Coach Balog has held roles at variety of levels, ranging from grassroots soccer to working for professional clubs like the Colorado Rapids from Major League Soccer (MLS) or Colorado Switchbacks (USL Championship). He was the ODP Director for Montana, and until recently served as the Boys Director of Coaching and ECNL Director at FC Bucks.

Balog has played soccer in Belgium, Hungary, Greece, England, and the U.S

Co-Head Coach – Daniel Clitnovici

Co-Head Coach Clitnovici is the Director of Coaching and ECNL Director at FC Bucks. Clitnovici boasts professional coaching licensing with the United States Soccer Federation “A” License and UEFA “A” License, as well as a USC Director of Coaching and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.

Clitnovici brings more than 15 years of professional coaching experience to ACFC. Most notably, Coach Clitnovici was with Major League Soccer outfit Colorado Rapids, head coaching the Colorado Rapids Women from 2011 through 2014. He was the Assistant Coach of the Western New York Flash from 2015 to 2016 where he also held the title of WNY Flash Academy Director of Coaching, Clitnovici was the Interim Head Coach representing the WNY Flash during the 2016 NWSL Draft.

During 2014 season Clitnovici, head coached W-League expansion side Colorado Pride Women to a Western Conference Playoff Final and he established a defense that did not concede a single goal at home. Clitnovici was named 2014 W-League Coach of the Year. Clitnovici also led the Colorado Rapids’ U-20 women’s team to the USL U-20 national championship in 2012, crowning the Colorado Rapids as North American Champions.

Assistant Coach – Alexis Mendoza

Coach Mendoza will serve as an Assistant Coach for ACFC during the 2022 season. He has been involved at various levels for various age groups in the past several years. He is currently also working as a coach for RUSA Soccer Academy and is the Head Coach for the Glassboro High School Boys Soccer Team since the 2020 season. In addition, prior to these opportunities, he worked as a trainer for Prestige Training Company from 2015 to 2020. Alexis graduated from Rowan University in 2021 and participated on the Rowan men’s soccer team in spring of 2016.

HEAD COACH – Steffen Siebert

Coach Siebert brings exceptional history and passion to the Aces as our team’s new head coach. Coach Siebert is a US Soccer and UEFA ‘A’ License Coach and ‘A’ license Instructor with a Doctorate in Sports Leadership who has established an exceptional record of achievements within this field over the last 20 years through coaching roles in MLS, US College System, and Academy System in Germany and United States.

Coach Siebert has a tremendous track record at the collegiate level before joining US Soccer and Real Salt Lake of the MLS. At the helm of the Springfield College, Siebert led the Pride to championships from 14-17′, including an ECAC Championship in 2015, a NEWMAC Men’s Soccer Championship in 2016 and a NEWMAC Regular-Season Title in 2017. In just six years, Siebert produced 23 NEWMAC All-Conference players, including the 2016 NEWMAC Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Year, Luke Alvaro ’17, who also became the first All-American in Division III program history. In 2017, Brad Deckel ’19 became the first-ever CoSIDA Academic All-American, as he produced a 3.97 grade-point average and posted 20 points on the year. Under Siebert Springfield College combined for a record of 49-7-6 (.839 winning percentage). For the ten years prior to taking over as the associate head coach (a role which he held for two years before becoming the head coach), the Springfield College men’s soccer team had a winning percentage of .380.

Coach Mohammadi joins the Aces from our neighbors to the north. The A Licensed coach has extensive experience as a player and coach in collegiate and club setups. MHsc Candidate.

Head Coach – Kristian O’Leary

Kristian Denis O’Leary (born 30 August 1977) is a Welsh football coach and former professional footballer. He is best known for his spells both as a player and coach at Swansea City, where he is manager of the U23s. He formerly managed Welsh sides Carmarthen Town and Neath, and American soccer club Atlantic City FC

Assistant Coach Evan Brosniak

Coach Brosniak has been part of the Stockton staff after spending time coaching at the high school, collegiate and professional levels.

Brosniak is a former Academy Coach with the New York Red Bulls and was the head coach of Southern Regional High School from 2009-15. He was named Ocean County Coach of the Year in 2009 and ranks second all-time in wins at Southern Regional.

Brosniak was the head coach of Raritan Valley Community College in 2007 and 2008 before taking the helm at Southern. He started his coaching career at Bound Brook High School, serving as head coach for four seasons and assistant for two years. In 2004, Bound Brook won the Central Jersey Group 1 title, the first in school history.

Brosniak played soccer on the collegiate level at Divison III Curry College before finishing his playing career at Syracuse University. He led North Brunswick High School to a state championship in 1993, and was named to their Hall of Fame in 2003.
